Genetic algorithm-based congestion control optimisation for mobile data network

چکیده

Abstract Mobile data network is featured by long delay and moving terminals, which affect the user service quality performance of transmission control protocol’s (TCP) congestion algorithm Vegas. To solve this problem, paper first proposed to optimise using a genetic algorithm, build ns-3 topology structure adopt mobile trace for optimisation simulation; Vegas problem as multivariate dual-objective was solved with Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II (NSGA-II). The simulation results indicate that optimised parameters have high throughput short delay, significantly promotes TCP Vegas’s QoS under scene.
